Canned Lion Hunts

CATCA Campaign against canned lion hunts in South Africa

CATCA Campaign against canned lion hunts in South Africa

South Africa the country where is about to host the FIFA world cup has another sport: to shoot lions used to people. This kind of hunt is called 'canned hunting'. These lions come from zoos or are breed in facilities and are almost tamed or tamed.

Four Paws of Austria/Germany, informed us that a third of the tourists willing to pay thousands of dollars to shoot a defenseless (and often tamed lions), are tourists that come from the United States.

This is the first phase of this campaign.

Let's bombard them with e-mails, faxes and letter, telling them politely that this hunt should be forbidden and that is considered uncivilized and brutal. Tell them that because of this you will boycott the FIFA Soccer World Cup this year in their country and that you would boycott their country (and tell everybody you know to do the same), until this senseless hunt ends.

Thanks,
Ericka

Gracias,
Ericka
